Coast to Coast
In 1999 I walked the Alfred Wainwright route of the Coast to Coast with my family in just under two weeks. This June I’m going to attempt to run it in 7 days.
My overnight kit will be shuffled along, so I only need to carry food and water for each day, but it’s 192 miles - over a marathon a day and +22,000 ft of total ascent.
The Live Tracker and blogs cover some of the logistics and planning as well as the attempt itself!
UPDATE: After 156.4 miles, 24,382ft of ascent, and 5 ½ days of running which degenerated into hobbling, I stopped 38 miles short of the end. TBC.

Three weeks to go!
Website, logistics, accommodation, training, nutrition, equipment, support…. lots to do.
